We source textiles from diverse stakeholders including mine sites, government agencies, and charities and other industries to ensure efficient recycling.
Closing the Loop
Through our reintegration methods, we spin recycled textiles into Thread. With degraded fibre we will regenerate these fibres into new innovative products for the market forming a sustainable ecosystem.

Founded in response to Australias growing textile waste crisis, ThreadUp was created with a vision to build a circular textile economy.
With textile waste contributing to harmful emissions and environmental strain, we saw the need for action. Using waterless recycling technologies, we transform discarded textiles such as uniforms, sheets, and towels and any fabric type into reusable fibres and regenerate them into new products.
